First of all you have not expressed your point of view that in which sector you want to work.br /br /But if you want to work as chemical engineer, then I am sorry to say that there is no need of core knowledge of chemical engineer.br /br /But, yes there is a strongBUT,/strongbr /br /This companies are consulting based service company which gives the best solutions for their clients. In that scenario, there comes a chemical company wants some solution for their company. Then these companies need the knowledge of chemical engineer who can analyse the problem more accurately than any other person, after that solution will be created where you can build that solution more accurately as you know the pivot points of that problem.br /br /So, it's totally up to you in which sector you want to work. You can work here as Software Engineer with the knowledge of Chemical Engineering.

Its totally up to you in which sector you want and you want to grow although these type of companies need the employees who have better knowledge and who could analyse the problem more efficentlyand fastly, as well as creative and innovative and chemical engineer is good in analysing problem more accurately so you can grow and work here as software engineer
