Eligibility

Tata Motors Placement drive selects the candidate with some requirements for the job post. The interested candidate can apply and check out the eligibility criteria for the post. The eligibility is mentioned below:

  • The minimum qualification of a candidate is that he/ she must have finished the graduation or post-graduation of 2020, 2019 and 2018 batch.
  • Only B.E/ B.Tech/ M.Tech/ M.E/ MCA/ MBA streams can apply with mathematics as an essential subject in the academics.
  • A minimum of 60% is required in academics.
  • No backlogs at the time of the interview.
  • A minimum gap of 1 year in education is allowed.
  • The age limit for the post is 18-33 years.

The difficulty level of the written exam is considered of moderate level with some hard questions. Here are some of the key topics to study for the Written Exam:

English Language section will contain short reading comprehension passages. This section also consists of basic grammar usage questions like fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, paragraph completion, error-based, vocabulary, sentence ordering, etc.

Quantitative Ability section will contain questions from the topics like algebra, time & work, time, speed & distance, arithmetic, percentages, probability, permutation & combination, profit & loss, HCF, LCM, geometry, etc. This section is of a moderate level.

Reasoning: This section observes questions on data interpretation, logical reasoning questions, puzzles, graphs, charts, and tables can be asked.

  • Candidates must attempt only those questions which they are sure of being correct, as there is 0.25 negative marking.
