  • magnetism is a quality of a material by virtueof which it attracts some materials (like iron). electro magnetism can be explained as magnetism produced by electricity. a current carrying conductor consists of magnetic field around it and it can be called an electro magnet.

  • Magnetism is a class of physical phenomena that are mediated by magnetic fields. Electric currents and the magnetic moments of elementary particles give rise to a magnetic field, which acts on other currents and magnetic moments. The most familiar effects occur in ferromagnetic materials, which are strongly attracted by magnetic fields and can be magnetized to become permanent magnets, producing magnetic fields themselves. Only a few substances are ferromagnetic; the most common ones are iron, nickel and cobalt and their alloys. The prefix ferro- refers to iron, because permanent magnetism was first observed in lodestone, a form of natural iron ore called magnetite, Fe3O4. Electromagnetism is a branch of physics involving the study of the electromagnetic force, a type of physical interaction that occurs between electrically charged particles. The electromagnetic force usually exhibits electromagnetic fields such as electric fields, magnetic fields and light, and is one of the four fundamental interactions (commonly called forces) in nature. The electromagnetic force plays a major role in determining the internal properties of most objects encountered in daily life. Ordinary matter takes its form as a result of intermolecular forces between individual atoms and molecules in matter, and is a manifestation of the electromagnetic force.

  • Anytime an electric charge moves, a magnetic field is created. You might wonder if moving strongmagnets/strong (or a changing magnetic field) would create an electric current or get electric charges to move. The answer is yes, it can. This aspect of strongelectromagnetism/strong is often used to create electricity in electric generators

  • magnetism developed by a current of electricity,Electromagnetism can be considered as the science of electromagnetic fields. When an electric current passes through a conductor, a circular electromagnetic field is created around it.Electromagnetism is governed by the basic law known as “Faraday’s law of induction.”
