Axis Bank Young Bankers (ABYB) Programme is a great way to begin your career with India's banking industry. This program conceptualizes Axis Bank to make future bankers by training youth with specific skills and practical knowledge. The ABYB Programme consists of 6 months of classroom training and additional 6 months of practical training in the form of internship and on-the-job training at various Axis bank branches. The course's total duration is one year, and the best part is that the students enrolled in this program get a monthly stipend throughout the duration of the course, and on top of that, this course also guarantees job placements.



ABYB Programme classes are conducted in association with two known universities; Manipal Global Education, Bangalore, and Amity Global Business School, Noida. It is a full-time course with classes from mornings to evenings. On successful completion of this course, students are awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking Services. Students are appointed as Assistant Managers with a salary of Rs. 4.12 lakhs per annum.

Axis Bank Young Bankers Selection Process:

 

The candidates applying for the Axis Bank Young Bankers program will get selected through a two-stage selection procedure. Axis Bank Young Bankers Exam Pattern:

Axis Bank Aptitude Test

The time frame set for the online, computer-based test aptitude test is 2 hours, and the questions will be in the format of Multiple-type choice questions. ABYB Eligibility Criteria:

ABYB (Axis Bank Young Banker’s Program) requires the graduates from any stream who have scored a minimum of 50%. The age criteria set for this program is 21 years to 30 years of age. Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the ABYB Program.

Who cannot apply for Axis Bank Young Banker’s Program?
  • The candidates who have the Post Graduate Degree are not eligible to apply for the ABYB Program.

  • The candidates who are outside of India are not considered eligible for the program.

After completing the program, the candidates will be able to get the Post Graduate Diploma in Banking Servies and the guaranteed position of Assistant Manager Grade at Axis Bank. The candidates will be provided with a provisional appointment, which can turn into the assured employment after successfully completing the ABYB program. It is disheartening to say that the repercussions of failing to pass ABYB are harmful. There is a prescribed criterion of candidates getting selected for the interview for the jobs after completion of ABYB. The candidates have to score the requisite credits during the classroom sessions, followed by the assessment tests. If the candidate fails to do so, it could be shattering of dreams in a snap of a finger. The consequences are not on the part of the candidate as:

  • The candidate will not get the course fee back, as only the hostel security deposit is refundable. Approximately 4+ Lakh will go in vain without getting anything in return.

  • The degree of Post Graduate Diploma in Banking Services will not be awarded to the candidate.

  • The institutions that are part of the ABYB Program, Amity Global Business School (Noida) and Manipal Global Education (Bangalore), do not hold any responsibility of providing any certificate or employment to the candidates who will fail to complete ABYB successfully.

 

Tips and Tricks ABYB 
 

  • It would be best if you had the speed to finish the ABYB exam within the prescribed time limit. Practice reasoning and mathematics problems by memorizing formulas. After each study session, keep 1 hour for revision of topics learned/practiced.

  • Make mathematics your strong suit; practice questions to solve them within time to increase efficiency. The trick here is to mug up math formulas by heart, so they come in handy while solving a problem.

  • Remember, negative marking is not a factor here. Therefore, try to attempt all questions.

  • Manage your time correctly; give an appropriate amount of time to each section. Try to improve your time by practicing as many online tests as possible.
