  • If the run rate of first 10 overs was 3.2,it means that the team had scored 32 runs in first 10 overs. So the run rate of next 40 overs will be :- (total run scored - run scored in first 10 overs)/40. = 282-32/40 =250/40 = 6.25 So the run rate of next 40 overs = 6.25 runs per over.
