ICAR AIEEA Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit, Nationality, Educational Qualifications
NTA conducts all India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) for admission in Undergraduate and Postgraduate Agricultural courses. The applicants appearing for AIEEA must have completed 16 years. The applicant must have qualified 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% marks. The applicant is an Indian citizen to be eligible for ICAR AIEEA.
· The Indian applicants must have the AADHAAR Card; they have to enter the 16-digit AADHAAR number at ICAR AIEEA Application Form Filling.
· There is an exception for the applicants belonging to Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, and Meghalaya state if they don’t have the AADHAAR card.
ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) has revised the schedule of examination for both the undergraduate and postgraduate courses due to the current COVID-19 crisis. The exam date has been changed to September 16, 17, and 22, 2020, for the undergraduate courses. The postgraduate entrance exam has been set for September 23, 2020. · ICAR AIEEA Age Limit:
1. The applicants must have completed 16 years of age to apply for Undergraduate Agriculture courses.
2. For Postgraduate Agriculture courses, the minimum age limit for the applicants is 19 years of age.
· Nationality for ICAR AIEEA:
The applicants who are applying for ICAR AIEEA should be an Indian Citizen.
· Educational Qualifications for Agriculture Undergraduate Courses:
1. The applicants must have qualified 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% (for General category applicants)
2. The applicants of the reserved category are required to have 45% marks.
3. The applicants must have Chemistry, Physics, and Biology/ Home Science or Agriculture as the mandatory subjects during the study.
4. The applicants who have appeared for the improvement or compartment exam are also eligible unless they provide the proof of succeeding the exams with the required marks.
· Educational Qualifications for Agriculture Postgraduate Courses:
1. The applicants must have their education in the pattern of 10+2+3 / 10+2+4 10+6/ 10+2+5 (Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry).
2. The applicants must have secured the minimum grades belonging to the General/OBC/UPS category as follows:
§ Out of 10 Grade points, the applicant must have secured 6.60.
§ Out of 4 Grade Points, the applicant must have secured 2.60.
§ Out of 5 Grade Points, the applicant must have secured 3.25.
3. The applicants must have secured the minimum grades belonging to the SC/ST/PC category as follows:
§ Out of 10 Grade points, the applicant must have secured 5.60.
§ Out of 4 Grade Points, the applicant must have secured 2.20.
§ Out of 5 Grade Points, the applicant must have secured 2.75.
