Can anyone please give complete information regarding the IPU CET BJMC exam?

IPU CET BJMC
·         Common Entrance Test (CET) is conducted by Indrapastha University (IPU) for admission in BJMC (Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication) once every year in the month of May.
·         The availability of the seats is 600 in its 12 affiliated colleges.
 ELIGIBILITY
Candidate must have passed class 12 or equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 50 %.
Candidate should have studied and passed English as well in 10+2.
Candidate's age should not exceed 21 years.
·         The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
EXAM PATTERN
·         Total time offered is 150minutes in which the students have to attempt 150 questions.
·         Total marks are 600
·         The exam is divided into 4 sections
·         SECTION 1 is  English language & ComprehensioN
·         SECTION 2 is General Awareness
·         SECTION 3 is  Reasoning
·         SECTION 4 is  Media Aptitude
·         Exam is conducted in offline mode in English medium
·         Correct answer gives you +4
·         1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.

·         Firstly Go through the syllabus and exam pattern thoroughly.


·         Be in touch with the current affairs .This will help you in the general awareness section.


·         Make sure the political and historical scenario of India is on your tips.


·         One should Study regularly and revise the concepts on regular basis.


·         Make notes for revision while studying different topics.


·         Positive attitude  and confidence is very important when preparing for any exam .Keep yourself motivated.


·         Know your strengths and weaknesses and work on them constantly.
