UKSEE also known as Uttarakhand state entrance exam is the
test conducted to offer admissions to the aspiring candidates
into B.Pharmacy and also second year of B.Pharma programs.
This exam is organized by Uttarakhand technical university
for enrolling students in undergraduate as well as post
graduate technical and pharma programmes in institutions
affiliated to Uttarakhand technical university.
Eligibility
Ithe eligibility for UKSEE.
Candidate should check the eligibility before filling the application form.
First about the domicile eligibility- Students must
possess domicile of Uttarakhand state.Candidates who have passed
or appearing in the qualifying exam from other states, but have the
domicile of Uttarakhand are also eligible to apply.Students who have
cleared the qualifying exam from Uttarakhand Technical Board or
Universities are also eligible to apply.
Now let’s talk about eligibility for btech, pharma, and lateral entry
programmes. Passed in 12th or equivalent exam with Physics &
Chemistry as compulsory subjects and any one
Mathematics/Biology/ Biotechnology.Candidates should have scored
minimum 45% marks in core subjects (40% marks for reserved
categories).For admission in a lateral entry in Pharmacy, students
must have passed the diploma examination approved by AICTE.
the exam pattern forUKSEE. -
There are 12 paper in UKSEE and a candidate
has to attempt paper according to their stream which
they have selected. Paper 1 to paper 3 have 50
question and paper 4 to paper 12 have 100 questions.
Paper 1 to paper 3 are of 50 marks and paper 4 to
paper 12 are of 100 marks. There is no negative
marking for any question answered incorrectly.
However, a record of all the questions answered
wrongly by a candidate is kept.This is used when there
is a tie where two or more aspirants secure same total
marks. For such candidates, inter-se-merit is
determined by the number of incorrect answers given
by the candidate.
· Time management is very important during the exam but also while preparing for exam
· You should be well prepared and confident while appearing for the interview round.
· Make daily Targets for yourself , and check the at the end of the day
· While you prepare, you should write down he important things you need to revise just before the exam.
· Give as many as mock test you can
· It will help you improve your speed , and will make you analyse your weaker and strong areas
· Make a daily habit of writing that’ll help you increase your speed
· Improve your basics, that’ll help you crack tricky questions
· To improve you General Awareness you should regularly read newspaper , watch news, read magazines and should be well aware of the current affairs
