UPESMET Topic-wise Syllabus:

UPES Management Entrance Test (UPESMET) is organized by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies every year to offer admission in MBA Programs. UPES sets the syllabus and exam pattern for the UPESMET.

The UPES invites application forms online multiple times in a year. The application form is available on the official website. The last date to apply online is 23 June 2020. The admit card will not be required, a test link is sent on the registered mail of the candidate for attending the test. The exam will be conducted from 26 June to 27 June 2020.

There will be 140 MCQs asked to solve in 2 Hours and 30 Minutes from 4 Sections - General English (35 MCQs), Quantitative (35 MCQs), General Awareness (35 MCQs) and Analytical and Logical Reasoning (35 MCQs). There will be no negative marking and +1 Mark will be provided for each correct answer. It is a computer-based test and the level of the exam is University Level.

The UPESMET Syllabus is not announced clearly. On the basis of the previous year papers, the following syllabus is given:

General English:

Reading and Comprehension, Sentence Correction, Para Jumble and Completion, Fill in the blanks, Synonyms, Antonyms, One Word Substitution, Idioms and Phrases.

Quantitative: Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency

Number System, LCM and HCF, Average, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Partnership, Ratio and Proportion, Work and Time, Time Speed and Distance, Pipe and Cistern, Mensuration, Trigonometry, Clocks, Lines, Mode, Median, Arithmetic Progression and Mean, Geometric Progression and Mean, Harmonic Progression and Mean, Angles and Triangles.

General Awareness:

Awards and Winners, History and Geography, Static GK, Business and Politics, Indian Constitution, Personalities, Economy, Current Affairs, Word Events.

Analytical and Logical Reasoning:

Seating Arrangement, Data Arrangement, Blood Relations, Venn Diagram, Puzzles, Syllogism, Statement and Assumptions, Binary Logic, Clock and Calenders.
