A is the event that the sum is greater than 9; B is the event that the sum is an even no; hence A= {(4,6)(5,5)(5,6)(6,4)(6,5)(6,6)} and B= {(1,1)(1,3)(1,5)(2,2)(2,4)(2,6) and so on} A and B= {(4,6)(5,5)(6,4)(6,6)} p(A)=6÷36; p(B)=18÷36;p(A and B)=4÷36 hence p(A or B)=(6+18-4)÷36=5÷9
