The examination conducted by KVS will be having one written test and interview. The written test for the exam is divided into two parts, first part will be consisting of English and Hindi sections in which candidate will be having 30 multiple questions and part two will be having 120 multiple questions, the sections consisting in part 2 will be of Current Affairs, Reasoning Ability and Teaching Methodology. For every correct answer you will be awarded with a 1 mark and for every wrong answer there will be negative marking. The marking scheme will be as per government norms only. Once you are cleared with the exam then you’ll be further called for an interview process. Total time given for examination will be 2 hours and 30 minutes only. The result will be on the basis of clearing part 1 of the paper then only the candidate can further proceed to part 2 and the final round of the interview. Government will release all the information related to examination on its official website only where the candidates can check anything if updated or changed by the government in the pattern of the examination. The criteria set by the government for applying to PRT examination is for a senior secondary passed with a minimum of 50% and two years diploma in elementary education. Candidates must pass the CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) by CBSE in order to qualify the criteria.
