JPSC - Exam Pattern:
The exam will be conducted in two stages:
Written Exam (Prelims and Mains)
Personality Test
The exam of JPSC CCS PRELIMS consists of two Papers
Question Type: Objective Type Questions
Total No. of Questions: 400
Total Marks: 400 marks
Time Duration: 4 hours
JPSC PRELIMS Exam Syllabus:
General Studies I:
It will comprise of 200 questions carrying 200 marks with the time limit of 120 minutes like Indian Heritage and culture, History, Geography of the world and India, Government, constitution, Indian Polity, Social Justice, International Relations, Technology, Bio-Diversity, Environment, Disaster Management, Economic Development, General Science; Science and Technology, National & International Current Events, and much more.
General Studies II:
It will comprise of 200 questions carrying 200 marks with the time limit of 120 minutes mainly Jharkhand related questions like History of Jharkhand, Specific identity of Jharkhand, Jharkhand Literature and literary person, Jharkhand movement, major educational institutions of Jharkhand, Sports, Jharkhand Land related Laws/Acts, Jharkhand Industries and resources, Jharkhand Disaster Management and much more.
There will be no negative marking for the incorrect answers in the objective-based questions paper I.
Exam Pattern Mains: JPSC
The exam of JPSC CCS MAINS consists of SIX Paper of 500 Objective Type Questions carrying 1050 marks with the time limit of 3 hours:
JPSC MAINS Syllabus -
General Hindi & English I: It will comprise 100 questions carrying 100 marks with the time limit of 120 minutes like Antonym – Synonym, Noun, Proverb and more.
Studies Question Paper II: It will comprise of 200 questions carrying 150 marks with the time limit of 120 minutes like Language and Literature and more.
General Studies Question Paper III to VI: It will comprise of 200 questions carrying 800 marks with the time limit of 120 minutes like Indian Heritage and culture, History, Geography of the world and India, Government, constitution, Indian Polity, Social Justice, International Relations, Technology, Bio-Diversity, Environment, Disaster Management, Economic Development and much more.
The Personality Test comprises of 100 marks.
