• Candidate must have completed his age of  21 years and not attained the age more than 35 years as on the last date specified for receipt of the application or on such other date as may be specified by the Government.

• the upper age limit for general merit candidates is 35 years, while it is 38 and 40 for OBC and SC/ST candidates.
