  • Examination Pattern of BPSC Exam–br /1) Preliminary Examination andbr /2) Main Examinationbr /The description of the varied examinations is given below – br /1) preliminary exam – The preliminary exam of BPSC – PCS can comprise of the objective type questions. They will have to choose the best possible answer for them and mark on it. There’ll be total 150 questions; every of 1 mark .Time duration is 120 minutes.br /2) Main Examination – The main examination comprises of –br /(i) Written Examination br /(ii) Personal Interviewbr /There are 4 papers in BPSC Main Examination – br /(i) Hindi br /(ii) General Studiesbr /(iii) First Optional Paper br /iv) Second Optional Paper br /Total marks allotted to Written Examination are 1200. br /Hindi – The applicants will have to obtain at least 30 marks in Hindi.br /General Studies–GS is split in 2 categories –br /GS Paper Ibr /GS Paper IIbr /200 is the maximum marks for each GS paper. The timing assigned to them is 3 hours individuallybr /First Optional Paper –br /Paper 4 – paper I of 1st optional subjects (200 Marks) br /Paper 5 – paper II of 1st optional subject (200 hundred Marks) br /Second Optional Paper – br /Paper 6– paper I of Second optional Subject (200 Marks) br /Paper 7 – paper II of Second optional Subject (200Marks)
