1. Preliminary Examination: there'll be 2 papers during this a part of examination as per the curriculum of the CSAT to be resolved within the given timeframe on the following:
Paper I: General Studies (200 Questions)
Paper II: General Studies (200 Questions)
Total Marks Allotted: 400
Duration of Exam: 2 Hours
Syllabus for Paper I:
History, Geography, Science & Technology, Economic Events, Indian Constitution and Governance, Environmental problems, Disaster Management Policy, National and International Events
Paper II: Hindi and English Comprehension based mostly queries, higher cognitive process and downside finding queries, General power, Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability and basic acquirement etc.
Exam Pattern for Mains examination:
Paper I: General Hindi and General English (High college Standard) 100Marks
Paper II: Language and Literature 100 Marks
Paper III: General Studies (as per the curriculum of Paper I) 200 Marks
Paper IV: General Studies Paper II (Indian Constitution/ Polity/ smart Governance) 200 Marks
Paper V: General Studies (General Science /Environmental & Technology Development) 200 Marks
Total marks assigned to Mains Exam: 900 Marks
