  • Exam Pattern for KPSC:br /The Karnataka Public Service Commission government officials Examination consist of 2 levels:br /1. Preliminary exam br /2. Mains Examination and personal Interview br /1. KPSC Preliminary Examination:br /The Preliminary Examination of the KPSC Civil Services Exam is an objective type paper having multiple choice questions of 100 Marks. The candidates are given questions on the subsequent sections:br /Paper I: General Studies & Humanitiesbr /Paper II: General Studies, General Science & Technology and General capacity br /Total variety of Questions: 100br /Total Marks Allotted: 200 br /Distribution of Questions:br /Paper I: GS – 40 questions Humanities – 60 questionsbr /Paper II: GS (General Studies) – 40 questions br /General Science & Technology, atmosphere and Ecology – 30 questions br /General capacity – 30 questions br /Marking Scheme: The candidates are given 2 marks for every question tried by them whereas there'll be no deduction for the incorrect answers tried by them. No negative marking is there.br /br /2.KPSC  Main Examination br /The Main exam consists of questions on the subsequent eight papers which are as follows:br /Paper I: Kannada (150 Marks) br /Paper II: English (150 Marks)br /Paper III & IV: General Studies (300 Marks)br /Paper V, VI, VII & VIII: 1200 Marks (Each paper of 300 Marks) br /Total Marks Allotted: 2100
