  • Punjab PSC  EXAM Eligibility Criteria:- 
    Nationality:  
    A candidate shall be a:
    i. Citizen of India; or
    ii. Citizen of Nepal; or
    iii. Subject of Bhutan;
    Age Limit
    The candidate should have attained the age of 21 years but should not be older than 37 years.
    Post of Deputy Superintendent Police in the Punjab Police Service is age limit is 21-28. The Relaxation for SC and ST period is for five years. For OBC 3 years.
    Educational Qualification:
    Candidates should possess Graduate degree with at least 55% of the marks in any field from any of the University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State
    The candidate should have basic knowledge of Computer Application.

    Ø  Those who have passed minimum 10th standard from the well-recognized board can apply for the post.
    Ø   The candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 37 years .
    Ø  For the Post of Deputy Superintendent Police in the Punjab Police Service the candidate must not exceed the age limit of 28 yrs
    Ø  The candidate should possess a bachelor degree in any stream from a recognised university or institution
    Ø  The applicant should  be a Citizen of India
    Ø  Or the Citizen of Nepal or Bhutan
    Ø  Or He/She should be a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the Ist January. 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India
    Ø  Or can be a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries with the intention of permanently settling in India Provided that the candidate other than the candidates possessing Indian nationality shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Competent Authority as notified Punjab Civil Services General and Common Conditions of Service) Rules, 1994.
