TSPSC (Telangana State Public Service Commission) was founded in 2014 in Telangana by the Government of India to select candidates for Civil Posts. It was formed with the sole motive of creating and fostering such a Public Service Commission is free, non- biased, honest, Operational and capable enough to meet and fulfill the requirements of common people from the government side. The duty of TSPSC is- The direct recruitment on the behalf of Defence, Government servants and much more, They help in the framing of recruitment rules and Advice Government on promotions and transfers from one service to another. The eligibility for applying for TSPSC- One should have a B.Tech graduation degree from a renowned college or institution recognized by the State Government.

The exam will happen in different stages:

The exam of TSPSC consists of Two Paper of 300 Objective Type Questions carrying 500 marks with the time limit of 5 hours:
General Studies: It will comprise of 75 questions carrying 75 marks like Indian Heritage and culture, History, Geography of the world and India, Government, constitution, Indian Polity, Social Justice, International Relations, Technology, Bio-Diversity, Environment, Disaster Management, Economic Development and much more.
General Abilities: It will comprise 75 questions carrying 75 marks like word power, analogies, sentence corrections, and verbal reasoning, Athematic computation, blood relations, visual memory, syllogism, problem-solving, number solving and more.
Civil Engineering: It will comprise 150 questions carrying 300 marks and topics like Soil Mechanics & Foundation Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Transportation Engineering and much more.
The Interview is the last stage which carries 100 Marks.
Note: The Results declared will tell who will go for further TSPSC Interview. The cut-off will be based upon the merit list which will vary on the basis of the category (SC/ ST/OBC/General/PH).
