  • the loads which are having lagging power factor (mixer, motor, fan etc) are called as inductive loads And the loads which are unity power factor are called as resistive loads

  • resistive loads will produce heat or energy where as inductive load stores energy

  • There are two kinds of reactive loads, either capacitive or inductive.  A reactive load is a load in which current and voltage are not in same phase. Either current is ahead of voltage or voltage is ahead of current.br /br /A reactive load having leading power factor is called a capacitive load, while a reactive load having  lagging power factor is called an stronginductive load/strong. Some examples of inductive loads are motors, mixers, fans etc. br /br /While there are certain kinds of load in which current and voltage are proportional to each other such loads are called strongresistive loads/strong, example a resistor, wire etc.

  • Inductive loads are used for heavy loads such as motors whereas resistive loads are the simplest load which has resistance.

  • The inductive Resistance load is charge & dissipating heat example lamp for resistive load & inductive loads like a fans

  • The Loads which are in lagging in nature called INDUCTIVE and load which voltage and current are no phases difference called RESISTIVE Loads.. Exam: fans, washing machines ,motors are all inductive loads Lamps, led are resistive loads
