Difference between busbar and feeder ?

  • busbar acts as a input and output for the substation to which all incoming and outgoing lines are connected to it where as feeder is connected between distribution substation output to the distribution transformer

  • busbar is comman conductor where's incoming and outgoing supply of power is conducted., and feedar is nothing as transmission line which feed the power from feddar to the distributor, feddar may be 11kv or 33 kv

  • both terms are belongs to conductors. according arrangement thier terminalogy changed. conductor is used at in put of any network is feeder. any network have one or more feeders. bus bar is connectin node in network. i.e is feeder is also a busbar
